Whether you are looking for isolated or non-isolated DC-DC conversion, Power Stamp Alliance members are developing a growing range of high density, high current 48V to point-of-load (POL) DC-DC converters ('power stamps'). Direct conversion for CPU or processor core voltage rails brings a range of business and technical benefits.

Products already available or in development by PSA members address 48V to 1V, 48V to 1.8V, 48V to 0.9V and many other direct conversion requirements.

The dimensions of the power stamps have been carefully defined to match the expected application. Specifically, they address the requirement of being placed near the processor and memory. The size and powertrain footprint of the main and satellite power stamps are the same. The main power stamp will use LGA pad terminations. The satellite power stamp will use block-pin terminations.
